2016 Acts of Kindness

Kount on Kindness is so excited to tell you about our member gym clubs’ 2016 October Acts of Kindness!

The Wendy Hilliard Gymnastics Foundation

The Wendy Hilliard Gymnastics Foundation provides free and low-cost gymnastics classes to youth in underserved communities. Their goal is to provide children of all ages with the opportunities to improve physical and emotional health through the sport of gymnastics.

In 2016, the WHGF held their 20th Anniversary Celebration Event. IGC Camp Director Brent Klaus was able to attend the event seeing firsthand how WHGF has impacted the community.

Giant Gymnastics of Sparta

Giant Gymnastics worked alongside Ginnie’s House Children’s Advocacy Center by holding a donation drive at the gym for books, blankets, stuffed animals, and tote bags. The gymnasts spent a Friday night assembling “goodnight bags” for children in need at Ginnie’s House.

Additionally, Giant Gymnastics has hosted and participated in numerous fundraisers and outreach events to bring awareness to and raise money for many different causes. Gymnasts of all levels actively participate in these events as Giant strives to teach its gymnasts more than just gymnastics!

Regal Gymnastics Academy

Regal Gymnastics Academy level 6-9 team athletes have raised proceeds toward the Emily M Lyman Foundation.

The fundraising was done door-to-door, online, and through a ‘Kids Night Out’ event held at the gymnastics center and hosted by the team athletes.

Congratulations to Regal Gymnastics Academy.
